"Constantine: The Beginnings of "Christendom"? 1700 Year Anniversary of Constantine's Declaration of Christianity as Religion of the Empire.

Plan to join the Grace Discussion Group on Sunday, October 28th at 9:30-10:15, when our guest speaker, Rev. Charles Hefling will lead us in a discussion of the 1700 year anniversary of  Emperor Constantine's conversion and establishment of Christianity as the religion of the  Roman empire. What was the impact of Constantine's declaration?  He tried to do the Roman civilization a favor?  Was it?  Come and find out.

Charles Hefling, the academic editor of The Oxford Guide to the Book of Common Prayer, taught systematic theology at Boston College for thirty years. He has been the editor-in-chief of The Anglican Theological Review as well as Examining Chaplain for the Diocese of Massachusetts, where he serves as instructor in the Diaconal Formation Program.
