Formation Station Wraps Up Next Sunday

We shared the story of Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus in Formation Station on Sunday. We wondered in small groups about this mysterious encounter and Saul's later work as an evangelist. While the everyone else built scenes from the story, the middle/high schoolers went aside to discuss the character of the Holy Spirit. We learned the different meanings of the words used for "spirit," like "breath" or "wind." Then we read several passages that describe the actions of the Spirit, seeing how the Spirit brings life, creates, inspires, and unites.

The group then rejoined and shared each other's creations. Also, the Formation Station group is learning a memory verse! If you would like to join us or if you missed the last couple weeks, the verses we are memorizing are Romans 8:38-39.

This Sunday will be our last session of Formation Station. Our next project will be gardening! Let me know if you'd like to lend your gardening expertise. :)
