I want to take this time to thank all of those who helped to make our Annual Meeting a success. I want to especially thank Ellie Ross for her patience and assistance in working with our students throughout the entire meeting!
I have an important announcement regarding the Christian Education program at Grace! The Christian Education Committee has unanimously agreed to try a new set of programming for this Spring. We will be testing this format for the Spring and seeing how it works to then decide as to whether or not to continue with it next fall. We will be changing the way that our classes are divided. Instead of having three separate Sunday School groups and a nursery, we will be condensing into two, larger classrooms and a nursery. The changes will take place on the 16th of February, as we are continuing a "one room" Sunday School format for the remainder of our Clean Water Project. Therefore, the divide will be as follows:
Class 1- Ages Kindergarden-4th Grade
Class 2- 5th Grade and above
The Christian Education Committee strongly believes that by consolidating the classrooms, we will be able to effectively have a more engaging and exciting environment for each group of students.
We are in the process of building a schedule of classes with specific themes. If you would like to serve as a second adult, please email me! Remember, second adults do not have to be parents of students in our programs. It is a wonderful ministry to engage in for anyone in the congregation willing to give it a try. Help us do our part to keep our students safe in their pursuit of a closer walk with their faith. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
