Dear Friends,

Last Sunday, we started children's chapel with a short lesson on having a positive attitude and being there for your friends and family when they need some encouragement. We shared stories of when someone has been there for us when we were down, and then how we can do the same for others! Firelight and Godly Play joined each other for another lesson on prayer. Courtney F. and Peter M. led the class in a labyrinth activity. As usual, Courtney used her artistic expertise to create images of the children's prayers and to design the labyrinth with them. In the Middle School class, we discussed the commonalities and differences of the world's religions, what makes Christianity special, and how we can hold firm to our beliefs and be welcoming to others. We created file folders that we filled with words and images that defined for us what we find meaningful about the Christian faith for our lives.

Don't forget, the junior choir performs this Sunday!

Best,
Jared Wyma-Bradley
