Dear Friends,

We continued to learn The Lord's Prayer in American Sign Language during Children's Chapel on Sunday. It has been a fun learning experience for all! In Godly Play, the children went through the Circle of the Year story. They moved the arrow through the liturgical wall calendar and assembled a corresponding wooden circle. After the feast, they had some time to draw and play with the Good Shepherd materials. In the Elementary Class, the children continued to learn about Jeremiah. They learned about his life and prophecies, and sang the song, "Go Tell it on the Mountain." Working with clay, the children learned how Jeremiah described God as a potter and the people as clay, to be molded by him. In the Middle School class, we continued discussing the Bible, its truth, and its contradictions. We discussed what we think are some of the consistent truths that the Bible tells us, even though the Bible can have some tough passages to make sense of.

Blessings,
Jared Wyma-Bradley
