Saturday, April 7, 10AM-Noon: Hot Cross Buns and Sparkling Brass

posted Mar 28, 2012, 11:59 AM by Todd Randolph
Please join us for an hour on Saturday morning, April 7, as we prepare for Easter Sunday’s  breakfast feast and for  our holy service of celebration.

Come to the kitchen where all the makings for hot cross buns will be ready for cooks of all ages to mix and mold and bake.
While those buns are rising, mosey over to the sacristy and help to bring the sparkle back to Grace’s treasured brass--ten candlesticks, two altar crosses, and the crucifer’s cross.  Soft cloths, plastic gloves, and polish will be provided—coffee and donut holes too.  All you need to bring is a bit of elbow grease.

Then, meander into the large hall to lend a hand at setting places for the Easter breakfast.

Much can be accomplished in an hour with the help of many.  So please come and lend a hand.  If you can join us, please let us know with your name on the sign-up sheet in the church office.  That way, we’ll know how many donut holes to provide.
