Welcome Back, Grace!

Summer's winding down...or is it up, like the temperatures this week? No matter - it is time for our Grace family to come together, compare suntans and tales of vacation triumphs and tribulations. And that time is this Sunday, September 8th!

The fun starts at 10AM with Church School registration for the small and not so small fry. Sidewalk Sam returns to help Grace artisans of all ages brighten the walkways around the church. Our new Director of Christian education, Justin Hood, will also be on hand to meet everyone.

Primary services commence at 10:30. This week's service will feature "Blessing of the Backpacks," right up there with number 2 pencils for returning scholars. The service also marks the debut for Grace's new Organist and Choirmaster Joseph Fort, so bring your dancing shoes...er, I mean come ready to make a joyful (and tuneful!) noise unto the Lord.

We hope you can stay after the service for a celebratory picnic. We'll bring burgers, bratwurst and beverages (see that alliteration!); we humbly request that you stage a repeat performance for that salad, side dish or dessert everyone wanted the recipe for last year. George the Magician will appear, possibly in a puff of smoke, to dazzle and delight. Sorry, closet Malfoy fans - George will be performing only white magic at Grace!

Whether you've been at Grace long enough to have parts of the church named after you or you're visiting us for the first time, we are so happy you can be with us!
