Most issues of Grace Today, our weekly newsletter, contain a reflection from our pastor Regina.
Those reflections are collected below.

Those Who Teach and Those Who Learn

Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom: Enlighten by your
Holy Spirit those who teach and those who learn, that, rejoicing in the knowledge of your truth, they may worship
you and serve you from generation to generation; through
Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the
Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer, p. 261)

This Sunday, we will give thanks for all our Church School students and teachers, at the close of another wonderful and energizing year of classes and activities to help us grow in faith. We are so grateful for Jared Wyma-Bradley’s leadership as Minister for Christian Formation for Children and Youth. Jared jumped right in to life at Grace—his first Sunday was the picnic in September! He has a heart for kids, and an authentic and lively faith of his own, and we are blessed to have him with us. Jared was supported by the members of the Christian Education Committee, and by about twenty other adults this year!

Our children and youth are not just “the future of the church.” They are also the present! In the Episcopal Church, all baptized Christians are full members. In their presence with us, their energy and joy and curiosity, children help us to experience the presence of Christ among us in new ways. They help us see with new eyes, and inspire us in our own faith journey. May God bless us as we grow together in faith and love in the coming year.

In Christ,
Regina
