God is working in this place

It is with great pleasure that I share with everyone that Margaret has accepted our offer and will lead us for the next two years.  As I have said, and as many of you have said to me, "God is working in this place."   We are not done yet and truth be told, we have not likely really begun.  We need to be present in this moment and live into all that God is calling us to do for there is a sweet, sweet spirit in this place and we are all singing its tune.  Let's see where it takes us.

Another Mary Oliver poem:

"What I Learned So Far"

Meditation is old and honorable, so why should I not sit, every morning of my life, on the hillside, looking into the shining world? Because, properly attended to, delight, as well as havoc, is suggestion.  Can one be passionate about the just, the ideal, the sublime, and the holy, and yet commit to no labor in its cause?  I don't think so.

All summations have a beginning, all effect has a story, all kindness begins with the sown seed.  Thought, buds towards radiance.  The gospel of light is the crossroads of - indolence, or action.

Be ignited, or be gone.

Faithfully,

Jennifer Reed
