Looking for a place to host your next event?

Grace Church is home to many groups from our wider community who meet to make music, for fellowship and support, or just for fun. Our large ground floor meeting spaces are all wheelchair accessible, including an accessible restroom. Street parking in the neighborhood is free and widely available on weekends and evenings. To inquire about renting one or more of our spaces, please contact our parish administrator at office@gracenewton.org or call (617) 244-3221 x300.

The Sanctuary

Our beautiful, historic sanctuary has lovely acoustics for choral performances. There is a well-maintained grand piano, suitable for concerts and accompanying, and our organ, a refurbished Hook and Hastings, is available for use with approval from our music director. The Sanctuary can comfortably sit about 300 people.

The Large Hall

A great space for dance groups, performances, parties, and larger meetings, this hall also has a small stage. The grand piano is tuned on a regular schedule. The Large Hall joins the parish kitchen, use of which may be requested as part of your event. The Large Hall can accommodate about 110 people seated in rows and about 75 people seated at tables. Padded folding chairs and tables are available for your use.

The Small Hall

Sometimes called “the living room,” this warm and inviting meeting space can comfortably host about 35 to 40 people. The Small Hall is a good choice for receptions, club meetings, or parties. Use of the parish kitchen may be requested for your event. Padded chairs, tables, and couches are available for your use.

Choir Hall

The Choir Hall is a cozy space ideal for smaller music rehearsals. It holds up to 30 people and comes equipped with a baby grand piano.

Chapel

The Chapel is a very warm, intimate space with good acoustics. It is about two thirds the size of the Choir Hall and is ideal for one-on-one instruction and/or for groups up to 12. It comes equipped with chairs and an electric keyboard.
